These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Clarfiys online store and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order you agree to these Terms.

1. Products

Our chess sets are made from natural hardwoods. Grain, color, and figure vary from piece to piece and case to case; the photographs on our site are representative, and small natural variations are not defects. Measurements (for example king height) are approximate and may vary by a few millimeters.

2. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price, in which case you will receive a full refund. Payment is collected at the time of order through our secure checkout. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address.

3. Orders

An order is accepted when we send the shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud or stock errors; you will be notified and refunded in full.

4. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms.

5. Warranty

We warrant that our products are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. Wear from normal use, damage from moisture, heat, or improper storage, and cosmetic changes to natural wood over time are not covered. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site – text, photographs, graphics, and the Clarfiys name and logo – is our property or used with permission and may not be reproduced without written consent.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
